Standardization In Progress Report (December 2024)

We thank our hospitals for their hard work and collaboration to improve the data for all.

Healthix is actively working with all our hospitals to improve data quality and align with USCDI standards. These efforts include, but are not limited to, ensuring the presence of data validation and conformance to standard codes. These enhancements are implemented through a series of interface changes and mapping exercises.

Please note: Percentages for some data elements may actually be higher than what is reflected in the table, due to mid-month changes not yet fully reflected. These improvements will be evident in the next month’s table. Below is a list of work in progress.

Allergies

  • Healthix has identify a large number of data source providers are missing Date/Time information associated with Allergy data.
  • Healthix will start to work with the various hospital to update their interface to share this critical data attribute
  • Healthix applied standard mappings in December, improvement should be reflected in January report

Procedure

Healthix has deployed a fix to correctly process H+H procedures. This fix will help represent the standardization conformance at H+H individual site level.

Diagnosis

Healthix and Mount Sinai are in the final stage of testing Diagnosis data in CCDA. We expect to have a code moved to production on the Mount Sinai side causing an improvement in the overall percentage of standard DX

Race And Ethnicity

Healthix is working to deploy a bug fix to address the drop in Race and Ethnicity Data. We expect to have the fix in place for Race and Ethnicity in first week in February.
