Change of Facility Codes
This migration will result in new facility codes for a subset of Northwell’s organizations. Click here to view the list of impacted facilities and their new codes. Historic data will continue to align with the old facility codes, while new data will appear under the new codes. Please note, a facility code change may affect how your site identifies the location of a patient. Healthix is available to assist clients needing a crosswalk between old and new facility codes.
Alert Recipients
The change in facility codes may temporarily impact alerts. Northwell Health will discharge patients from specified facilities in the old EMR and then register them in Epic. In the first hour’s post-migration, expect an increase in discharge messages followed by an increase in admit messages.
