Healthix is working with DOHMH on a project for the Office of School Health (OSH) to provide ED and inpatient information for students aged 6-18 with known diagnoses of asthma, diabetes and severe mental health. The data is being used by the OSH team for patient outreach, surveillance, and improving the quality of care for DOE students. The results were more than we could have hoped for, with a 97% successful match with OSH desired patients (1,000,428 total matches). The reporting began in January. Healthix provides encounter, diagnosis and COVID-19 mortality risk on a monthly basis.
Healthix Awards Contract for Clinical Terminology Mapping
Healthix is committed to continually enhancing the quality and reliability of its data. We are taking a big step forward by awarding the Terminology Mapping contract, following an RFP process, to J2 Managed Terminology. J2 is partnering with CareCom to deliver an industry-acclaimed terminology solution, including automated mapping and content management. The project launches June 1 with a focus on lab data.

Each year, that feedback comes in the form of a customer usage and satisfaction survey known as the NORC survey. What’s a NORC survey? National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago conducts rigorous research and analysis in the public interest. In early fall, NYS DOH, with the help of NORC, conducts an online survey targeting a sample of Healthix customers. The survey is designed to elicit
feedback on usage and satisfaction. We count on your participation to help us help you.
