KEY INITIATIVE:

Closing the Gap: Healthix Commitment to Data Quality and Integrity

Healthix is working in partnership with our Participants to ensure that organizations are contributing all of the desired data types – especially those required for meaningful use. Filling these data gaps with expanded, structured, and coded-data will provide insightful and actionable information that can benefit public health initiatives as well as patient care.

Relying on collaboration with our Participants, their EHR Vendors, guidance from the SHIN-NY, and incentives from the New York State Department of Health, we look forward to reaching new milestones.

KEY INITIATIVE: DECEMBER 20th

Two-Factor Security Verification Begins for Healthix Portal Users

If you access the Healthix Portal to query patient data or retrieve Clinical Event Notifications, you will need to be ready to use Two-Factor Verification.

For those organizations using Single Sign On access to Healthix, or for those users who only come to the Healthix Portal for training purposes, you will not be impacted by the additional security verification.
This new security measure, mandated by the NYSDOH, is designed to further ensure the safety of Protected Health Information (PHI).
